from high strength steel and are tested for leaks at our shop.
- Our shelters have been inspected
and are approved by FEMA
- Each unit is painted inside
and out and coated on the outside for long lasting durability.
- Units are supplied with steel
steps, bench seating, and easy access doors.
- Each unit comes with large handrail
inside and out for easy accessibility
- Carpeting is installed on the
floor, benches, and steps.
- Our drop-in units feature a
45 deg. entrance slope which, according to our customers, make
them the easiest to access.
- In-ground units come with a
12" wind turbine for proper ventilation.
- All in-ground shelters are anchored
down with 1000 lbs. of concrete.
(Approximate installation time is about 3 hours.)
- Drop-in units are anchored per
size 4x6 has 1000 lbs on each side for a total of 2000 lbs a
6x8 has 1500 lbs on each side for a total of 3000 lbs. and the
bigger they get the more concrete needed.
